Studio lineage

Twelve years in practice

Rowan Vance is an independent designer, strategist, and educator. After a decade leading design systems across complex digital organizations, the studio was re-established to offer direct advisory and unvarnished professional training.

Career evolution

Agency craft to studio practice

Before establishing an independent studio, Rowan spent ten years directing brand architecture and digital product teams in New York and London. That tenure established a deep respect for operational reality: deadlines, engineering constraints, and cross-functional friction.

Teaching began internally as an apprenticeship framework to train junior practitioners faster. Over time, those studio syllabi evolved into public masterclasses, practical handbooks, and retained advisory engagements built strictly on verified methods.
